Two of JLL’s leading retail agents who quit the firm in January this year in protest over redundancies in the UK retail team have created a new property consultancy.
Michael Webb, a former director in JLL’s central London retail team, and Steve Young, also a retail director, have joined forces with Camilla Topham, a director in the development and London estates leasing team at Davis Coffer Lyons, to launch Distrkt – a “modern and conscious” property consultancy specialising in the retail and leisure sectors.
The trio, who have known each other for a number of years and worked alongside each other in their former roles, said they had long shared a vision for a “modern property consultancy that reflects the dynamic nature of the sectors they specialise in”.
