Former media tycoon turned property developer, Eddy Shah, has built 44 lodges at The Wiltshire Leisure Village in Wootten Bassett and plans to build more.

The site, part of a 245 acre plot in Wiltshire, is surrounded by a 27 hole golf course.

Shah, who founded Today newspaper, is selling the remaining 20 units for £2.14m for the lot or £115,000 each.

Shah is guaranteeing the rent of 3% (£3,000) a unit a year for five years with one year free ground rent.

Planning permission has been secured for the next phase of 30 new lodges and construction will start later this year.
