Former Teesland chief executive officer Mickola Wilson and Orange Properties’ managing director Darren Fennell have teamed up with former colleague, Seven Dials’ founder Brett Robinson, to create a fund management team.
The Seven Dials European Commercial property fund’s new management team will launch new direct funds based on smaller portfolios of UK property.
The new funds will be targeted at the high net worth investor who wants to ‘gain access to the market at a low point of the real estate cycle.’
Wilson, Fennell and Robinson originally worked together at Guardian Royal Exchange where Robinson was the Life Fund manager running £7bn of assets.
Robinson said: ‘The new Seven Dials management team is a perfect fit, bringing together some top talent in a specialist sector which will be focused on developing new products for private investors and smaller institutions, which provide the same quality and expertise as enjoyed by the major institutional investor.’
Wilson added: ‘Along with the launch of the new funds, immediate plans include specific focus on building up the existing Seven Dials European Property Fund.’
