British Land has confirmed Mike Ashley’s Frasers multi-brand store concept will take 65,000 sq ft at the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield.
Phase one of Frasers Meadowhall is due to open later this year and will feature a beauty hall, cocktail bar and café.
The second phase, which is due to open in Spring 2021, will see British retailer FLANNELS open within the store.
“This is the first major site signed since announcing our plans for Frasers and we’re proud to have acquired such a prominent location in one of the most forward-thinking schemes in the UK,” said Michael Murray, head of elevation for Frasers Group.
Darren Richards, head of real estate at British Land, added: “This letting further demonstrates Meadowhall’s enduring appeal to brands who can benefit from the centre’s unique offering, wide catchment and the positive footfall growth we have continued to see this year.”
