Bela Partnership – a joint venture between Bee Bee Developments and the Lagan Group – has picked a site and secured funding for a new enterprise centre to be built in Corby.

The East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) has pledged £6.5m towards the £8.3m cost of developing the 43,000 sq ft scheme. Northamptonshire Entreprise, Corby Borough Council and the European Regional Development Fund have put up the rest of the money.

The Corby Enterprise Centre will now be built at Priors Hall, the urban extension to the north east of Corby. Work is expected to begin in summer, conditional on planning.

Bela Partnership is the preferred developer of the scheme.

Anthony Payne, EMDA’s land and development director, said: ‘Corby Enterprise Centre will provide much needed high quality accommodation for the town’s small businesses.’
