Galliford Try goes to the dogs to deliver 200 new homes in Birmingham

Hall green racetrack

Galliford Try has announced plans to partner with housing association WM Housing to convert the former Hall Green dog racing stadium into 200 new homes in Birmingham.

Galliford acquired the former greyhound stadium site in April for £13m and has now agreed a deal to deliver 100 homes to be sold under its Linden Homes brand and a further 100 homes which WM Housing will offer at affordable and social rent as well as shared ownership.

The 10.77 acre site hosted greyhound racing for more than 90 years before closing in 2017.
