Glasgow & Edinburgh retail

Thus, with more people and greater expenditure, retailers’ first forays north of the border have tended to be in Glasgow. Historically, however, this has not been reflected in prime levels of rent. Headline rents in the past 18 years have been greater in Edinburgh, although rental growth has been comparable.
