Test Valley Council has approved Goodman’s section 106 contribution for its £120m development of the former Andover Airfield site.
Goodman, which won planning for the development in December (Property Week 12.12.08), can now go ahead with promoting the site to tenants after agreeing the section 106 deal.
The plans include 1.25m sq ft of warehouse space including a single building of 863,000 sq ft, as well as offices and a hotel and conference centre.
Jason Harris of Goodman said: ‘We believe the project will provide a boost to the area and encourage further inward investment into Andover. Our next step will be to promote the opportunity to potential tenants so we can deliver it as quickly as possible.’
