Secretary of State for Communities, Local Government and Housing James Brokenshire MP has fired government housing adviser Roger Scruton over racially charged comments .

Sir Roger Scruton, who was appointed last year to advise the government, sparked public backlash after he made controversial comments about Chinese people and Islamaphobia in an interview with the New Statesman magazine.
