Bristol City Council has approved plans for the new YTL Arena Bristol Complex.
The development will see three former aircraft hangers transformed into an entertainment venue, with a 17,080-person capacity area.
The arena will be the third largest in the UK after Manchester and the O2. Avison Young is advising on the planning for the entertainment venue.
