Gresham House backs new BTR venture Rise Homes

BTR developer already has schemes under way in Manchester and Stockport.

Rise Homes is led by chief executive Nigel Rawlings, one of the founders of healthcare REIT Assura, and chairman Andrew Pratt, Grainger’s former UK managing director.

The company will focus on developing “high-quality but good value-for-money” BTR housing, mainly in the North and Midlands.

It has two schemes under way in Manchester and Stockport that will provide 209 flats and plans to start four more schemes this year that will offer another 492 homes. They will be managed by Ringley Group, the firm behind tenant app Planet Rent.
