Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has appointed Graham Pimlott as non-executive director and chairman designate.
Pimlott, who has worked at Lovells, Barclays and recently held the deputy chairmanship at Hammerson (1993-2006), joins the board with immediate effect, replacing Richard Clare who has stepped down after eight years as a non-executive director.
Pimlott will succeed Rod Kent as chairman of Grosvenor in July this year. Kent will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Mark Preston, Grosvenor chief executive, said: ‘Graham’s considerable experience in corporate finance, law and the property sector will be invaluable to a very important part of the Group with ambitious plans both on the London Estate and elsewhere.’
