Grosvenor Estate has appointed Graham Ramsbottom as managing director for its north west division.

Ramsbottom joins from Co-operative Group where he was director of the rural estate, land development and ventures division based in Manchester.

At Grosvenor he will be responsible for 145 staff across the management of the Eaton Estate Office, the rural estates of Eaton, near Chester and Abbeystead in Lancashire.

He will join Grosvenor on 9 March 2009.

Jeremy Newsum, executive trustee of the Grosvenor Estate said: ‘Graham’s mix of property, land, business and environmental experience is ideal for this newly created role. He will manage the existing team and have a role within each of our businesses in the North West.’
