Hansteen looks to retail with plans for Lidl-led scheme in Darlington

Industrial-focused investor Hansteen has unveiled plans to develop a retail scheme in Darlington.

Hansteen has submitted a planning application to Darlington Borough Council for the development of three retail buildings in the Faverdale area. Lidl UK has signed up for the scheme as anchor tenant alongside Home Bargains and a first Starbucks drive-through unit in the town.
