Regeneration specialist Harworth Group has acquired 55.76 acres of land at Moss Nook in St Helens on Merseyside to develop its first residential scheme in the North West.
Acquired off-market from Banks Property Group, the brownfield site is situated a mile away from St Helens town centre. Having acted as a coal pit, colliery and a concrete pipe works before closing in the 1980s, the site has been proposed as a new ‘urban village’ and has an existing planning consent in place for 900 new homes.
