Harworth heads North West for debut resi buy on Merseyside

Harworth Moss Nook

Regeneration specialist Harworth Group has acquired 55.76 acres of land at Moss Nook in St Helens on Merseyside to develop its first residential scheme in the North West.

Acquired off-market from Banks Property Group, the brownfield site is situated a mile away from St Helens town centre. Having acted as a coal pit, colliery and a concrete pipe works before closing in the 1980s, the site has been proposed as a new ‘urban village’ and has an existing planning consent in place for 900 new homes.
