Property developer HBG Properties has unveiled the first images of its plans for the redevelopment of Apsley House in Glasgow’s central business district.
The 25,000 sq ft building, which was part of a seven-building portfolio forward sold to IVG in a £146m deal, will be demolished and redeveloped into a 75,000 sq ft scheme.
Michael Smart, a director at HBG Properties, said 'despite the early stage of its redevelopment, we have been encouraged by the number of enquires from prospective tenants that we have already received for Apsley House. Demolition is now complete; construction has commenced and the development will be formally launched in the coming months.’
Ryden and Jones Lang LaSalle are letting agents. The scheme is due to complete in Autumn 2009.
