Hillnic Cadogan House

Residential developer Hillnic has acquired the former Cadogan House site in Reading with plans to convert the two-storey office building into a £12m gross development value housing scheme.

Thames Valley-focused Hillnic has a current pipeline of £77m and the office-to-resi conversion scheme will represent its largest to date, at the site which fronts the A33 in Reading, Property Week can reveal. The developer said it planned to work with Reading Borough Council to submit a planning application in 2019 to extend the 11,047 sq ft site in order to accommodate 50 homes.
