Hines has agreed to forward purchase The Mint Building in Edinburgh on behalf of its European Core Fund.
The 60,000 sq ft prime office building is located on St Andrew Square in the city’s East End district and will be completed in early 2019. Acquired from developer Chris Stewart Group, the office has been pre-let on a 15-year lease. It also features 11,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant space on the ground floor including space pre-let to Chinese restaurant Tattu for its Scottish debut location and pizzeria Franco Manca.
