A surveyors group wants the government to draft a set of proposals and put them to owners on how public open space at developments should be privatised.
An independent committee should also be set up to decide which open space should be privatised, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors said yesterday.
Last year the government proposed granting an exemption to residents inconvenienced by the public using open space.
