Developer Top Hat has completed its first modular housing deal through Knight Frank’s affordable housing investment team, selling a leasehold block of 49 affordable housing units and 13 townhouses in Chatham to housing association Home Group for £12.9m.
The 49 affordable units of shared ownership tenure will be located within Buckley House, and will consist of a mix of one and two bedroom units. The six-storey building forms part of Kitchener Barracks, a 4.8-acre site with 302 residential units that will be delivered by modular developer Top Hat.
