The Cornwall Hotel, Spa & Estate has launched a new holiday home development as part of its £30m resort scheme at Tregorrick, near St Austell.

It will sell 22 homes as phase one of the development. There will be 60 homes in total.

The development is on schedule for completion in late 2009, and is due to open in early 2010.

The scheme is designed by architect AWW and is situated close to the Eden Project as well as the southern Cornish coast. The development also includes restoring a nineteenth centry manor house on the site which used to belong to the Coode family and turning the stables into a spa.

The hotel will be run on behalf of Bristol-based developers and owners CMR Leisure, part of Rudrum Holdings, by Bespoke Hotels.

Sales director Sam Weller said: ’At a time when other developers are holding back, our construction programme continues at a rapid pace and is on schedule.’
