Midlands property company Hortons has appointed Toby Green, former financee director, as its new chief executive.
Green will take up his post following the retirement of Rob Blyth at the AGM in January 2009.
Green has been at Hortons since 2000. Before that, he worked at St Modwen.
He will be joined on the board by Richard Norgrove, who is being promoted from estate manager to property director. Norgrove, who joined Hortons in January from Langtree Developments, used to work at Mountcity Investments.
Green said: ‘I am very much looking forward to leading the evolution of the business while maintaining the character and culture that make Hortons such a unique company. Despite the current challenging market conditions I am confident that the Company has a bright future.’
