House prices fell by the least in 10 months in March, according to the Hometrack monthly survey published today.
Prices fell by 0.6% in the month, after a 0.8% decline last month, the survey of estate agents’ estimates of achievable selling prices showed.
Prices have now fallen by 10.3% in the past 12 months, the survey says.
The number of transactions agreed rose by 19% over the month and new buyer registrations were up 8.5%.
