Industry calls on Gove for clarity over leaseholders pledge

Leaseholders and freeholders are calling for clarity from the government on their responsibility for building safety remediation works, following Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove’s recent pledge to abolish the leaseholder system, and his launch of mandatory remediation contracts for developers.
