ING Real Estate has appointed three senior managers to its investment management business in central and eastern Europe.

Former asset manager Menno Verhoeff has been appointed acquisitions director for central and eastern Europe heading teams in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.

Jiri Lhotak has been promoted from chief financial officer to chief operations officer. He retains his financial duties but will also oversee operational management for the region.

Jan Kubicek has been appointed as fund manager of the Property Fund Central Europe.

The company said the appointments were a part of it strategy to grow the company in the area.
