The Insolvency Service is to move to Carlyle Group and Argent’s Three Piccadilly Place in Manchester.

The firm has taken the 20,000 sq ft second floor and will relocate from offices at Boulton House and City Tower, Manchester.

It also follows closely the pre-let, announced in May, of the entire 19,000 sq ft first floor of the building to solicitors Weightmans.

Mark Harris, director and head of UK asset management at Carlyle, said: ‘We believe that the scheme’s location right next to Manchester’s main transport hub and its focus on sustainability have proved to be key factors in securing blue chip occupiers.’
