InterContinental Hotels Group is to bring its fledgling Hotel Indigo brand to the UK. The Times

The company, which also owns the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza chains, has opened 10 Indigo hotels in the US and Canada. Another 50 or so Hotel Indigos - described as a ‘branded, design-led, limited-service boutique concept’ – are in the pipeline.

Intercontinental is turning its attention to Europe and expects to start looking for sites in London – probably in Shoreditch – by the end of the year.
