Investors are returning to the Abu Dhabi market amid signs prices are stabilising, property consultant Landmark Advisory said on Sunday.

Transaction volumes on villas and apartments nearing completion have increased this month with villa values bottoming out, the company said in statement on Sunday - as it published its sales price index for the UAE capital.

The rate of decline for villas, which have fallen 45 percent since the third quarter 2008, has slowed Landmark said, but apartment prices in the emirate have fared worse, sliding five to ten percent since the end of the first quarter 2009.
