Jones Lang LaSalle have poached Catella’s German chief Andreas Quint to be its new CEO for Germany.

Quint, 48, who assumes the role at the start of 2009, will replace Christian Ulbrich who becomes CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Quint will be based in Frankfurt.

Ulbrich replaces Alastair Hughes who will become CEO for JLL in Asia at the same time. Hughes said: ‘Andreas is a well respected advisor and, together with his client focus, this will be of particular importance in the coming years.’

Quint has been CEO of Catella in Germany since 2006. Before that, he worked in the real estate department of accountants Arthur Anderson and at Ernst & Young.
