Tim Vallance, head of retail and leisure at JLL, has been elected as Revo junior vice president and will become president from 2021.
His appointment was formally announced at the Revo annual dinner, which took place last night at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
Vallance is a retail investment expert with over 25 years of experience advising funds, REITs, private equity and corporates.
He will serve as junior vice-president for 12 months under the new president Ellandi’s Mark Robinson, who will be succeeded by Landsec’s Ailish Christian-West in 2020.
Ed Cooke, chief executive of Revo, said: “Tim is a proven leader in our sector, with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and extensive experience across the retail and leisure markets, both in and out of town. He is a trusted and intelligent advisor, advising a broad range of clients.”
The winners of the 2018 Revo Gold Awards were also announced at the dinner. A live poll determined the industry’s stand out winner when Market Hall was crowned the best of the best from across all of the night’s category winners, having earlier been bestowed with the Re:lax award for the most innovative catering and leisure project.
