A new build-to-rent joint venture plans to build 500 new homes in Greenwich Peninsula and is slated to begin later this year if it wins planning approval.
The scheme will see Knight Dragon work in partnership with American developer Lincoln Property Company and UK real estate investor MGT to bring the development forward on the 150-acre site.
The development is located in the peninsula’s Parkside neighbourhood.
Knight Dragon recently completed more than 1,000 homes at Upper Riverside on the peninsula.
“Creative partnerships with best-in-class groups such as these are key to maintaining the delivery rate within an opportunity area of this scale and significance,” said Richard Margree, chief executive of Knight Dragon.
“This partnership on Greenwich Peninsula marks another important step in our UK strategy as we embark on a period of European expansion,” said Troy Javaher, head of UK and Europe for Lincoln Property Company.
“Lincoln brings its unique track record as one of the most prominent developers and the second-largest operator of build-to-rent in the United States to one of the most exciting regeneration schemes in London.”
