CB Richard Ellis has lost two of its top industrial executive directors.

Former Holley Blake equity partners Keith Dowley, head of agency and development, and David Turner, executive director UK capital markets, are quitting the firm to set up on their own.

The two prominent shed specialists, who command a client list that includes developers Segro, Gazeley and ProLogis, are set to depart the company in December.

It is thought that CBRE spent the last week locked in negotiations in an attempt to retain two of its best known agents.

Both agents’ contracts at the firm had expired and their departure is understood to be amicable.

Dowley, who polled at number 10 in Property Week’s 2008 agency survey, has led the team to win Property Week’s European Industrial adviser of the year in 2007, and then again this year since joining three years ago.

Holley Blake was bought by CBRE in 2006 for £12m as a 16-strong team.

Neither party would comment.
