King Sturge has poached the London team of Humberts Leisure Consulting group.

The team of nine, who joined King Sturge this morning, is headed by Peter Gee who will join as a partner.

Richard Batten, joint senior partner at King Sturge, said: ‘This is a very important step in our stated strategic objective to expand our hotel and leisure capabilities, not only in central London but throughout Europe.

'The Hotel and Leisure element of mixed use development is increasingly influential in value creation.’

Humberts Leisure’s existing consulting, planning and advisory teams will continue to operate out of its five London Mayfair and provincial offices across the country.

Jane Ker, chief executive officer at Humberts Leisure, said: ‘We have a strong and established presence in hotel and leisure consulting and advisory services from all offices in our network and, we have exciting plans for further expansion.’
