Knight Frank has bought retail agency Markham Vaughan Gillingham.

Knight Frank and the Bristol and London based retail specialist signed the deal late on Friday afternoon.

The five directors and two associate directors of the 12 strong firm across offices in London, Bristol, and Manchester, will join Knight Frank next week.

The team will be known as ‘Knight Frank in association with Markham Vaughan Gillingham’ for the time being.


Barbour to become head of retail
Markham Vaughan Gillingham's Ian Barbour will become head of retail based at Knight Frank’s HQ at 55 Baker Street and will be joined by Laurence Edwards, Nigel Gillingham, Tracey Pollard, and Woody Bruce.

In London, Markham Vaughan Gillingham's current projects include acting on behalf of Land Securities at One New Change and in Manchester for Allied London’s Spinningfields2. It advises on more than 9.5m sq ft of shopping centres.
