Two of Lancer’s directors have won their unfair dismissal claims against Astrea Asset Management, the company which replaced Lancer as managers of the Abu Dhabi royal family’s UK estate, while two other Lancer directors lost their case.
Lancer was in control of the family’s British portfolio, which includes the Berkeley Square estate, from 2001 until 2017 when Astrea Asset Management took over. Under Lancer, the value of the UK property holdings increased from £325m to over £5bn.
