Legal & General Property has let almost half of Charles Park, the industrial element of Crossways Business Park in Dartford, Kent, just three months after developing the scheme.
Seven units have been taken, totalling around 81,568 sq ft, at the Legal & General and Space Property owned site.
Four of the units at the 178,824 sq ft scheme were let to Crosswater Holdings, and the others were let to City Electrical Factors, Bemco and Crossways management company.
Jonathan Holland, industrial fund manager at Legal & General Property, said: ‘From the outset we were convinced this scheme would be a great success, as our research showed that the area lacked a quality park with a good layout in a pleasant working environment. From an investment point of view, we believe the economy in this area will grow strongly in the years to come and that this asset will become one of our core industrial park assets.’
M3, Edwin Hill and Colliers CRE are joint letting agents at Charles Park.
