L&G seeks to bank £55.5m from RBS portfolio disposal

Fund manager to sell four bank branches and three offices offering strong covenants and long-term income.

The fund manager has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to sell the three regional offices and four retail banking branches.

The portfolio is being marketed in five separate sales, known collectively as Project Helios, and all properties are let to either RBS or its NatWest Bank subsidiary for a further 19.5 years.
