Land Securities has let over 100,000 sq ft to retailer DSGi at its Lakeside Retail Park in West Thurrock, in the largest retail warehousing agency deal this year.
DSGi has taken 101,500 sq ft over two levels for its megastore concept, first unveiled last year at J9 in Birmingham, which trades as ‘Currys Megastore’.
The new store comprises most of the former ILVA store, which had been sublet to ILVA before it went into administration by Marks & Spencer.
DTZ and Morgan Williams advised Land Securities; Colliers CRE advised DSGi; and McMullen Wilson advised Marks & Spencer.
