Leeds based property consultants Carter & Co and Towlers have merged to form a new fifty-strong practice called Carter Towler.
It will be led by Carter & Co founder Andy Carter.
Carter, who set up his firm 25 years ago, said the merger was ‘a great fit’ and would set the new company in good stead to weather the difficult market conditions.
Carter & Co has been best known for office and industrial agency while half of Towlers’ work came from professional management.
Towlers’ former partners David Priestley and Tim Towler will form the company’s new management committee with Carter.
The new business will have a combined revenue of £3.5m and all the firms’ staff have been kept on and will move to a 6,500 sq ft office in Leeds city centre.
