Legislation needed for the construction of the northern sections of HS2 to begin has been delayed by a year.
The Bill for Phase 2B, which includes lines from Crewe to Manchster and Birmingham to Leeds, was scheduled to appear in parliament next year, but will now be put forward in 2020 instead.
