Lend Lease and partners First Base and East Thames have launched a public consultation for a masterplan for the £2bn Athletes Village development at Stratford City.
The scheme will first provide the Athletes Village for the London 2012 Olympic’s before being converted into a residential scheme of 3,800 homes, at least 30% of which will be affordable housing.
The scheme will also provide an education campus, community and healthcare facilities, and over 25 acres of parks and open spaces.
Lend Lease and its partners are hosting public exhibitions at Stratford Circus, Theatre Square this weekend.
The Athletes Village masterplan was prepared for Lend Lease and its partners by Fletcher Priest Architects and Arup Urban Design.
