LendInvest has appointed a former CBRE senior director and head of loan advisory as a fund manager.
Anurag Sharma advised LendInvest while leading the loan advisory team at CBRE Capital Advisors.
He joins the business with more than 14 years of experience in financial services, 12 of which were spent specialising in debt finance.
Before joining CBRE Sharma held positions at businesses including Barclays, Deloitte and PwC.
In his new role, Sharma is responsible for managing multiple portfolios for investors including that of LnewsendInvest’s flagship fund, the Real Estate Opportunity Fund.
“Anurag has worked closely with LendInvest for a number of years, and we’re delighted he’s agreed to join our team full-time,” said LendInvest co-founder and chief investment officer Ian Thomas.
“Anurag has a valuable understanding of how our business works and a deep knowledge of best practice loan valuation. He brings important expertise to both sides of our platform - from pricing debt portfolios for our investors, to contributing to credit decisioning with our credit risk and underwriting teams.”
