Littlewoods and Very owner to shut trio of distribution sites

Shop Direct, the owner of online fashion retailers Littlewoods and Very.co.uk, has announced plans to close its three distribution sites in Greater Manchester.

The group said it would be closing distribution centres in Shaw, Little Hulton and Raven and plans to move its entire operation to a new distribution and returns centre in the East Midlands, with development on that set to get underway in May.
