London Development Barometer: skills shortage threatens London growth

Lack of skills and capacity in the construction sector have overtaken Brexit as the biggest threat to commercial property development in London, according to industry leaders.

In the London Development Barometer survey by M3 Consulting, 85% of the 245 respondents – most of whom are senior industry leaders – said a lack of construction capacity and skills would negatively affect London development compared with the 77% who said Brexit would hurt construction.
