Interior Services Group, the specialist in fitting out commercial buildings that relies on London for half its profits, predicted no impact this year from uncertainty in financial markets. The Financial Times
David Lawther, chief executive, said the order book was at a record high of £696m in the year to 30 June.
’Our fit-outs are for the occupiers, not the owners of property,’ he said.
Pretax profits rose from £6.5m to £8.4m and, excluding exceptionals and goodwill amortisation, were 30% higher at £10.6m on a similar rise in fee income to £106.4m (£81.7m).
