Lambert Smith Hampton has moved its Cardiff head office to MEPC and Rightacre’s Callaghan Square development.
The agency is expanding in the capital and across Wales, and has taken the 3,600 sq ft office at 3 Callaghan Square to house its growing team which is set to total 26 people in the New Year.
10-year lease
LSH has taken a 10-year lease on the sixth floor of the building, moving from offices in Longcross Court on Newport Road. Other tenants at Callaghan Square include Eversheds and Allied Irish Bank.
Lee Mogridge, head of LSH in Wales, said: ‘In 2006, LSH moved into the Swansea market by acquiring Poolman Harlow and now, by making this move in Cardiff, we are looking to strengthen our operations across South Wales and to continue growing our business, our team, and the range and breadth of services we deliver.’
In its 2007 year-end results reported in June, LSH set itself clear targets for ongoing national growth following the management buy out.
500,000 sq ft
LSH is retained as managing agent on the whole Callaghan Square scheme, the first 160,000 sq ft phase of which will be complete in 2008. It is eventually set to provide more than 500,000 sq ft of office space in Cardiff.
