Owners of the 250-acre former Pfizer site will submit plan for 500,000 sq ft of new space to council this year.
The owner of the Sandwich campus – which was formerly the UK research and development headquarters of pharmaceutical company Pfizer – told Property Week it would submit a new masterplan for the site to Dover District Council before the end of the year.
Under the masterplan, it intends to develop 14.5 acres of new Good Manufacturing Practice space, 60,000 sq ft of office space, 50,000 sq ft of lab space, an acre of vertical farming, eight shops, a hotel, a restaurant, a pub, a petrol station and a farmers’ market.
