Majority of UK SMEs want to reverse Brexit decision

Following sustained political and economic uncertainty, 61% of UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) want to reverse the Brexit process and retain membership of the EU, according to the latest Citibase Business Confidence Index.

The survey of 1,059 SME decision-makers revealed that the uncertainty had forced them to review their office requirements, with almost three quarters (72%) stating they were now looking for leases of less than three years, compared with 57% in the first quarter of 2017.
