Malthouse highlights tech threat in RESI 2018 address

Minister says ‘innovation and disruption’ could cause some housebuilders to go the same way as Kodak.

Malthouse cited the decline of the camera company, which declared bankruptcy in 2012, in an eviscerating attack on the view that changes in technology will not affect housing to the same extent as other industries.
