Plans for the redevelopment of Holt Town Waterfront, close to Manchester, have been submitted to the local council by developer Cibitas Investments.
The 95 acre residential-led urban quarter will create 4m sq ft of residential space, as well as a new primary school, offices and a range of shops, bars and restaurants.
The scheme will be developed over the next 15 years and is close to the Sports City development.
The redevelopment is being led by urban regeneration company New East Manchester and Manchester City Council. The development framework was led by masterplanning and design consultancy Edaw in conjunction with Arup, Davis Langdon, GVA Grimley, Mace and Studio Egret West.
